Camelbak Demo Night Tonight Steve from Outdoor Gear Canada, Canadian distributors of Camelbak, is going to be out on the Group Ride tonight. He'll be handing out free Camelbak Podium waterbottles to the first bunch of riders to show up, so don't be late as quantities are limited. Ask Steve about Camelbak's great hydration systems, perfect for a scorching summer ride like tonight.

Check out Camelbak's cool stuff at Camelbak Demo

Racing, Racing, Racing! The season is almost half finished now, with some big events still to come. 24hrs of Adrenalin and a Canada Cup in Canmore July, provincial MTB Champs in Edmonton in August, and the famous Bow 80 in K-country to name just a few. If you're in Edmonton for the Canada Day holiday, check out the criterium(road, short circuit) races at the Legislature Grounds.

Pedalhead's Eckehart "Inkdart" Marenholtz kept his awesome season on track with a 2nd place finish at the Summer Soltice race recently, and is on the fast-track to becoming a Pro-
Elite. Congrats, Eckehart, just keep the rubber side down.

Banff Cycling Fest just wrapped up, the inaugural road stage race in Banff National Park. Pedalhead Road Works' team had strong finishes in the men's race, fighting for top spots in each stage. Hopefully this becomes an annual event.

How Much Do You Ride? Congrats go out to Pedalhead family member Baiba (Chris's mother-in-law) for hitting 5000km on her Giant Farrago hybrid. 5 summers of cruising the bike paths and neighbourhoods around her home have amassed a pretty impressive total. Keep on pedalling, mom, summer's just getting started!
